Welcome to The Hockessin Historical Society.

Our charter is to preserve and protect historic sites and buildings, primarily in the Hockessin area in Delaware.

	TWEED's TAVERN was the initial building that the Historical Society began to preserve. It was discovered at the core of a larger building that had grown around the original log tavern.
